Photographing The TODAY Show Concerts - Month 1

This summer, I’ll be photographing the TODAY Show’s annual summer concerts at Rockefeller Plaza. I’ve been craving the consistency, not just as it relates to a regular gig, but also the opportunity as an artist to put in my reps. For photographers, assignments are typically one of a kind: no event is ever the exact same, every portrait session is filled with a different energy, etc. With the TODAY show concerts, however, the process is the same as are most of the conditions. The primary variable is the pop star rather than time, location, and reason for being.

And with repetition comes improvement. It’s been fun to fine tune my craft while making photos I love. I hope you enjoy and I can’t wait for a few more months of concerts!
